Hard Riddles

I can be written, I can be spoken, I can be exposed, I can be broken.

I can move even when you are still. I can be one or many.

I can ruin your day, or darken your life. And while I’m expected, I’m never alright. I’m bad for business, and worse for your hair. Wherever I am, there’s something not there.

I can travel from there to here by disappearing, and here to there by reappearing.

I climb higher when hot, But beware my rage, I’ll kill with a breath, If I can escape my cage

I count time, but have no end. Tick tick, but I am not a clock. What am I?

I don’t have eyes, but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I’m white and empty.

I fly through the air on small feathered wings, seeking out life and destroying all things.

I follow the orders of only two. I respect the work of only two. I am in constant battles with many, Though one surpassed them all. With forces joined, We created hell, Until our mutual enemy fell. Who am I?

I grow for a surface, even if you cut me. I continue to grow even after death.

I grow where no flower grows, where no light touches the walls, up or down, that I don’t care, was here before people were.

I have a title and many pages I am a genteel of genteel descent I am a killer veteran of war I am a slave to my lord Pledged to his service.

I have a tongue, but do not talk. I follow close, but neither run nor walk. Coupled and hitched, but never married. You couldn’t bear the load I’ve carried.

I have an eye but cannot see, You’ll head inside when you see me.
